Maintaining your status as an REC Certified Solar Professional (RCSP) is crucial for continuing to enjoy the program’s benefits. If your certification expires, you will lose your RCSP status, which is tied to important perks such as being listed on the installer locator and the ability to offer the extended product and labor warranty.
Recertification is required every two years to ensure your certification remains valid. To help you stay on track, ProPortal will notify you with a pop-up when your certification is nearing or has already expired. Simply click the provided link to begin the recertification process. Once recertified, your updated certificate will be available for download in the "My Company" section of ProPortal as a universal PDF, which can be used across all your communication channels.
Staying certified ensures you can continue to leverage the full benefits of the REC Certified Solar Professional Program!
